Founded in 2021 as a result of a management buyout of an existing R&D design center, our specialty is mixed signal IC, DSP algorithms and IP development, with a specific focus on power management and audio.
Michele Chiabrera is INVENTVM Semiconductor co-founder and CEO, with more than 20 years of leadership in the semiconductor industry. He held senior management/director of R&D positions in STM, Marvell Semiconductor and Silicon Mitus Italy, were he also served as BoD member. His expertise spans over multiple market segments ranging from networking to mobile, audio and power management through a wide skillset covering technical marketing, digital, DSP, SW and system engineering.
He has a proven track record in creating breakthrough product lines and new market segments, as well as founding and developing successful design centers (Silicon Mitus Italy, Marvell Italy). Michele is a technology enthusiast and strives to leave the earth a better place. His core strength can be summarized with a simple statement: “Making it happen” in everything he approaches. He holds a MSEE degree with honors at the University of Genoa (1999) and teaches as a contract professor at the University of Genoa & University of Pavia.
Dr. Francesco Rezzi is INVENTVM Semiconductor co-founder and Chairman of the Board, serving as CTO. Previously, Francesco held different positions as designer and design manager in STMicroelectronics and Maxim Integrated Product. He also has a proven record in successfully growing large R&D organization having served for 11 years as Managing Director of Marvell Italy and & 3+ years as Managing director and VP of engineering for Silicon Mitus Italy. He is a recognized expert in Analog, Power Management and Power conversion electronics with 25+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry where he constantly pushed for innovation. Francesco graduated in EE and holds a PhD from the University of Pavia, where he also teaches as a contract professor. He holds over 22 international patents and is author of 13 IEEE papers including a course on Battery Management at ISSCC 2010.
